Footage Shows Florida Man Punching & Spitting On Customer In Wheelchair At Mcdonald's

Looks like Florida man has found himself behind bars after assaulting a man in a wheelchair at McDonald’s.

In the footage you can see the man spitting, punching and throwing soda on the man who was in a wheelchair. According to an arrest report, 22-year-old Andrew Childers was booked into a Lee County jail early Wednesday morning for abuse on a disabled adult.

According to Inside Edition, things got heated when the man in the wheelchair started screaming at the manager. Childers is the manager’s son and she claimed that he was simply standing up for his mother. Once argument continue to go on, Childers son can be seen walking over to the man and spit on him and then punched him about 4 times. After throwing a few punches, the manager grabbed her son to seemingly try and deescalate the situation, but her son came back over to the man and then threw soda on him.

Deputies arrested Childers two days after the incident in North Fort Myers. Childers is being held on a $5,000 bond, according to arrest records.

Now this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen something bizarre happen inside of McDonald’s. As we previously reported, Matthew Webb, 23 worked at McDonald’s  and was shot in the neck by suspect Michael Morgan for serving his mother cold french fries. Which led Webb to become brain dead.

Matthew argued with 40-year-old Lisa Fulmore who complained about her fries being cold. The two shared some sort of lengthy dispute before things continued to escalate, with CBS News reporting how she ended up calling her son to “take care of the problem.”

“Your Honor, the people anticipate a homicide charge on this case given the victim is currently on life support. The victim has been transported to Brookdale Hospital and has been brain-dead,” Assistant DA Luis Paternina explained to Judge Inga O’Neale during Michael’s arraignment for attempted murder charges. “The victim has been transported to Brookdale Hospital and has been brain-dead.”
