Nigerian singer Tems, 28, is laughing at all of the rumors that she is pregnant by her 2022 “Wait For U” collaborator, Atlanta rapper Future, 39. She claims, “You people are all mad.”
Earlier this week, Tems, born Temilade Openiyi, was spotted at the Burberry Summer 2024 fashion show during London Fashion Week. While being photographed and filmed by fans, one particular clip started making its rounds on the internet.
In the clip, Tems is seen in a black bodysuit tucked into some black leather pants, with a fuzzy, purple ankle-length zip coat pulled closed across her stomach with her left hand. As the clip went viral, several fans online began accusing the singer of being pregnant and trying to hide a protruding belly underneath the oversized coat.

As the clip went viral with all of the initial pregnancy rumors, the speculation continued, leading to some social media users alleging that the singer is pregnant with Future’s child, and now everyone has taken the rumor and ran with it.
On Wednesday (September 20), one user took to X, formerly Twitter, and tweeted, “Streets sayin Tems is pregnant by Future. Imma be sick.” Another person wrote, “People are saying Tems is pregnant for future??!!! Please tell me it’s not true.”
A third person said, “HOLD ON ONE SECOND!!! Who said Tems was pregnant by Future? WHO SAID IT & WHY? When did they start dating? How did he even get my girl number? Somebody got some splaining to do…”

Aside from Future being accused of fathering this alleged child growing in Tems belly, another artist was lumped into the mix. Some social media users started claiming fellow Afrobeats singer WizKid could be the alleged father. Having grown tired of the recklessness and rumors that continued to run rampant across social media, Tems finally addressed things.
On Friday (September 22), Tems cleared the air surrounding the speculation. She posted a selfie looking directly into the camera and said, “In conclusion, you people are all mad!!!” While she did not directly deny the rumors, Tems continued to reply to one social media user who reacted to the rumors and said, “Y’all are dumb, I swear.” Tems replied, “Lmao bruh what the hell is going on in this place.”
Despite all of the rumors, in the photos posted on Getty Images of Tems at the Burberry show, viewers can see the Nigerian superstar with her oversized coat wide open, revealing her stomach, which did not appear as round and puffy as the video going viral on social media and sparking speculation.
