We are deeply saddened to report the tragic news of Nic Kerdiles, the ex-fiancé of television personality Savannah Chrisley, who passed away following a tragic accident crash.

According to WKRN, Nic, a former professional hockey player, was involved in a motorcycle accident Saturday morning, the Nashville Police Department confirmed. Officials shared that the crash happened shortly after 3:30 a.m. when he was driving his Indian motorcycle.

The news outlet notes that Nic may have gone through a stop sign and crashed into the driver’s side of a BMW. More On Nic Kerdiles Before His Sudden Passing

Nic gained popularity on the reality television series “Chrisley Knows Best” as he was dating Todd and Julie Chrisley’s daughter, Savannah Chrisley. The two got engaged in April 2019, after a year and a half after they started dating in November 2017. However, in 2020 it revealed that they were taking a step back in their relationship, after previously planning to tie the knot that same year

In a respectful post, the two called off their engagement for good in September 2020. Savannah said at the time,

“You’ve all been wondering…so here it is,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself and Nic with smiles on a beach. “Oh, how I wish this smile was on my face and that infectious laugh was spewing out of my body right now…but sadly it’s not.”

She continued, “Nic and I have decided to call it quits. There’s no hatred between the two of us…and in all honesty…that makes saying goodbye even harder. We have nothing but love, respect, and admiration for one another but it’s time for us to move forward individually,” she explained. “These past 3 years have been some of the best years of my life…but I have to trust that God has a far greater purpose for my life…I believe that He will take this hardship and make something beautiful out of it. Now please be kind with this news that I am sharing.”

Savannah has not yet released a statement on the tragic news. However, fans have been flooding his comment section with tributes.

One said over a picture of him with this niece and nephew, “Glad he was able to see his family one last time before he passed.” Another said, “My heart sank when I heard the news! Can’t believe you are gone. My prayers to your family and loved ones. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace.” A third added, “I AM DEVASTATED!!! Rest in Heaven!! Life is too short!! Prayers for the family!”
