Kelly Osbourne Admits She Went A Little Too Far On Mission To Lose Baby Weight

Kelly Osbourne has always been open about her struggles with addiction and with her weight. In a new interview, Osbourne is now admitting that she might have gone “a little too far” with her most recent “mission” to lose all of her baby weight.

As we’ve previously reported, the 38-year-old TV host and former reality star gave birth to her baby boy Sidney late last year, with Sid Wilson, the mask-wearing DJ for the band SLIPKNOT. Last month, Osbourne then admitted that she “hid for 9 months” while she was pregnant out of fear of being “fat shamed.”

Osbourne made the revelation on Instagram after being called out by a user who asked her why they “never saw a pregnant picture” of her during her pregnancy. Commenting back to the user, the first-time mom set the record straight and admitted that she did not want to face the criticism that she felt would come if she popped out online with her pregnant belly and additional weight.

She said, “There are no pictures of me pregnant because I hid for 9 months because I did not want to get fat shamed.” While in the comments responding about her pregnancy fears, Osbourne also clapped back at claims of undergoing plastic surgery to enhance her face and neck.

She denied having major work done on her face, claiming that she’s only ever had Botox and injections “in her lips, jaw and forehead.” Elsewhere, she’s also further insisted that her major weight loss is to be credited for her enhanced appearance, not surgery.

The former reality star also slammed these same rumors of plastic surgery back in May 2021. At the time, she addressed the “stupid” claims and posted a video to her Instagram.

She said, “I just want to bring up a topic that you guys are all talking about because I’m always really honest and really upfront about what I’ve done to my body and who I am. And I’ve not had plastic surgery. I have never done anything to my face, other than a couple of injections in my lips, in my jaw, and in my forehead here. I do not lie, but thank you for the compliment.”

A year before Osbourne opened up in her May 2021 video, she admitted to undergoing surgery, but it was to get a gastric sleeve two years prior in 2018. Following her surgery, she dropped 85 pounds.

Since opening up last month about her fears of being “fat shamed” while pregnant, Kelly Osbourne now admits that she has pressed pause on her postpartum weight loss journey after going “a little too far” on her “mission” to drop all of her baby weight.

While stopping by Scheana Shay’s ‘Scheananiganspodcast, the host complimented Osbourne’s appearance, who then said she was “on a mission after having the baby to lose all [her] baby weight.” Osbourne added, “Then I was like, ‘Well, I lost all the baby weight. Let’s see how far I can go with it;’ and then went a little too far.”

Clarifying things, she added, “We’ve stopped.”
