Donald Trump Shares A Message Before Turning Himself In Federal Charges

BREAKING: Donald Trump Indicted For A Third Time, Receiving New Charges Related To His His Efforts To Overturn 2020 Election

Donald Trump has been taken into custody and while being arraigned in Washington the former president pleaded not guilty after a federal grand jury voted to indict him on Tuesday in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Before turning himself in on Thursday, Trump shared a few words to his social platform that read: ‘I am now going to Washington, DC to be arrested for having challenged a corrupt, rigged, & stolen election. It is a great honor, because I am being arrested for you. Make America great again.” He shared.

He also sent off an additional message that said, “Look, it’s not fault that my political opponent in the Democrat party, crooked Joe Biden has told his Attorney general to charge the leading (by far!) Republican Nominee and former president of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time and money to defend himself.”

Now this is the third time the former president has been indicted on criminal charges, following his indictment last month in the special counsel’s probe into his handling of classified materials after leaving office, also his indictment in April was on New York state charges where he allegedly falsified business records in connection with a hush money payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. In the history of the country, no president or former president had ever been indicted prior to Trump’s first indictment in April.

As we previously reported, Trump has stated publicly that he still plans to run for president even if he’s convicted of these charges. “I’ll never leave,” Trump said in the interview on his private plane. “Look, if I would have left, I would have left prior to the original race in 2016. That was a rough one. In theory that was not doable.”

Trump made a video and shared on the internet where he addressed his second indictment saying, “very sadly we’re a nation in decline and yet, they go after a popular president that got more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far. And did much better the second time in the election than the first.” He said. “They can’t stop because it’s election interference at the highest level there’s never been anything like what’s happened. I’m an innocent man, I’m an innocent person.”

Trump also went on to say how he feels like he’s being hit with these indictments because he’s beating the current president, Joe Biden in polls. “They’re coming after me because now we’re leading in the polls again by a lot, against Biden and the republicans by a lot. But we’re leading against Biden by a lot, a tremendous amount and we went up to a level that the way they figured they’ll stop us is using what’s called a warfare. Then that’s what it is. This is warfare for the law. And we can’t let it happen. Our country is going to hell and they come after Donald trump.”
