A 84-year-old is suffering from some serious injuries after a stranger kicked her off of a bus in South Los Angeles!
The Los Angeles Police Department says the incident happened near a bus stop on Vermont avenue when someone kicked the woman off the bus which caused her to fall flat onto the concrete. Witnesses spoke with FOX 11 and claimed that the attacker allegedly spat on the woman moments after throwing her off the bus. “This lady was just kind of pushed out of the bus,” witness Jonathan told the station of the Tuesday incident in South Los Angeles’ University Park. “She just smacked right into the concrete.”

He added that a man walking by while she was on the concrete pretended to help her but actually tried to “swipe her pocketbook, but luckily there was two younger locals that jumped off the bus and took the purse back from him.” While some witnesses said the woman was shoved, one said she was literally kicked off the bus. “The assailant was holding onto the rails on top of the bus and full force kicked the woman off the bus,” he said. “So not only did she hit the floor she was kicked violently.” After the incident authorities did arrest the unidentified suspect and her charges are pending.
“It’s sickening,” a family member of the victim told the station. “This action was very malicious and intentional and there’s nothing right about this act. Her family says the woman doesn’t even remember what took place but she is in a lot of pain. Jonathan added, ‘”These days it’s crazy. You just don’t know where you’re going to be safe anymore.”
Things have been getting crazy in Los Angeles lately as we previously shared, residents of an apartment complex in East Hollywood, specifically along North Serrano Avenue, are living in fear due to a disturbing situation involving a naked man roaming around the hallways of their building. The ordeal began when a new tenant moved in and started threatening and harassing residents. Eventually, the police intervened and removed this troublesome individual from the premises. However, their relief was short-lived as another tenant took over the apartment and began roaming the hallways in the nude.
This has left the residents feeling terrified and unsafe, causing them to be afraid to leave their homes for fear of potential sexual assault. The situation has escalated further with the woman making threats of blowing up the building. Despite multiple calls to the police, residents are frustrated with the management company’s lack of response and action to address the ongoing problem.
