Nick Cannon Says He Wrote The Mothers Of His Children Handwritten Messages For Mother’s Day, Then ‘Got The Cards Mixed Up’
Nick, who has twelve children with six different women said he wanted to do something a little different for their special day this year and chose to write handwritten letters to each of the mothers of his children — but it wasn’t that simple.
For those that need a quick reminder of Nick’s family tree, let’s break it down. In April 2011, Nick welcomed twins, son Moroccan and daughter Monroe, with Mariah Carey. Then in February 2017, Nick welcomed a son Golden Saigon with Brittany Bell. They would then welcome a daughter Powerful Queen in December 2020, and another son, Rise Messiah, in September 2022.

In June 2021, Nick welcomed a son Zen with Alyssa Scott, but the infant would pass away at five months from brain cancer. In December 2022, the couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Halo Marie.
In June 2021, Nick also welcomed twin boys, Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, with Abby De La Rosa. Then after suffering a miscarriage in April 2022, they welcomed a daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, in November 2022.
In June 2022, Nick also welcomed a son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi. And in September 2022, he welcomed his twelfth child, Onyx Ice Cole, with a sixth woman, LaNisha Cole.
Speaking on his little mistake for this year’s Mother’s Day, Nick said, “I tried my best. I really did.” He went on to add, “But I thought it would be really, really good to — you know, I could buy whatever, you know.”
His co-host Courtney Bee interjected, “Going a different route this year.” Nick agreed, “Yeah. To show people how you really feel write it down.” He added, “I was doing handwritten messages from the heart.”
Nick’s other co-host Abby De La Rosa, with whom he shares three children, chimed in and said, “I love that.” Courtney then asked, “How did you deliver them?” Nick recalled the moment he made his big mistake, and said, “So, then as I’m writing a handwritten message, I get the cards mixed up.”
Courtney interjected, “I knew it! I knew he was going to say that. I knew it. I knew he was going to say that sh*t.” Meanwhile the rest of the room all cringed in unison, “Ohhhhh.” Then Nick’s third co-host Mason Moussette said, “I just got goosebumps. I feel … oh no!”
The room continued to feel Nick’s pain and also laugh at it. He then went on with his story, “And then so, when one baby mama reads the card about how I feel about the other baby mama.” Everyone in the room interjected, “Wowwww.”
Nick offered, “See, but if I would have just got some generic sh*t that everybody else got, that wouldn’t have happened.” Checking him right on the spot, Courtney chimed in, “No n***a! If you would have focused, that wouldn’t have happened!”
