According to TMZ, Kevin Federline is putting his ex Britney Spears on a deadline before he takes her to court, and requests for a judge to help him move the couple’s two boys to Hawaii permanently.

KFed is reportedly threatening court against Britney until this Friday (June 2) to grant his wishes and sign off on his planned move to Hawaii with their sons, 17-year-old Sean Preston and 16-year-old Jayden James.

KFed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, told the publication that he has already tried to reach out to Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, several times before giving the popstar the ultimatum.

Kaplan claims that they have been asking for Britney to send them a letter or an email stating that she, as the boys mother, is okay with letting their father move them to Hawaii permanently.

However, Kaplan claims that he nor his client have received any written approval on the big move — which KFed and his wife, Victoria Prince, have already made plans to move forward with on August 1.

Kaplan also revealed that besides the fast-approaching moving date, he is also under serious stress with trying to get things in order once they’re in Hawaii, like renting a place for himself, his wife and his two boys.

As for why the father and his two boys are looking to move, it is reported that Victoria has received a new job offer at a local university, where she’ll be working in their sports department. The rush for Britney’s approval is also because Victoria needs to commit to the school.

Meanwhile, it is also noted that while KFed and Britney’s boys are 17 and 16 that he should not have an issue with moving the children. His lawyer also added that Britney has not seen their boys in more than a year, and subsequently, KFed has 100% legal custody and 100% de facto physical custody.

Kaplan continues to state that if Britney does not respond by the June 2 deadline, he will file legal documents on behalf of his client and request the courts for a move-away order.

According to the publication, sources tell them that Britney has not listed any “real objections” to KFed wanting to move their children from the mainland; however, it is still a move that cannot be done without formal documentation from either Britney or a court order.
