Jennifer Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, said she prayed for her daughter and Ben Affleck to reunite for twenty years during an appearance on the “TODAY” show.

Rodriguez told her mogul daughter that she knew that the couple would reunite because she prayed for their relationship within the past two decades. Jennifer Lopez nodded and said, “OK,” indicating that she had heard the details from her mother before the interview. As previously reported, Lopez and Affleck married almost 20 years after their first engagement in 2003.
The couple went their separate ways in 2004 and started their own families with other people. Lopez married singer Marc Anthony and had twins, Max and Emme, 15, as reported by TOO FAB. Affleck married Jennifer Garner and had three children, Violet,17; Seraphina, 14; and Samuel, 11. After separating from their previous relationships, the couple reunited in 2021.

Lopez also discussed her upcoming album “This Is Me…Now,” which will discuss her love story from when she met Ben Affleck and their 20-year journey.
“The album is really about capturing those moments in time. Falling in love and having that moment, then 20 years later trying to capture what this moment was, which was a very different thing. I think when you have life experience behind you, you realize what’s really important. I love what I do. I have always said that, but since I had kids, that changed for me. Now, having a family in this way and being married, you start rejiggering everything. What is really important? How much do I want to work? You start realizing what [you] want to do with [your] life.”
The singer-actress has an upcoming Netflix film titled “The Mother” which is releasing on May 12.

Guadalupe Rodriguez is the mother of Jennifer Lopez, one of the most successful entertainers in the world. She was born on December 12, 1946, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and moved to New York City with her family as a child.
Guadalupe worked as a kindergarten teacher and a daycare center manager to support her family, including her three daughters: Leslie, Lynda, and Jennifer.
