SMH! Man Shot In The Head On Hollywood Walk Of Fame — Two Suspects At Large

A man was left seriously wounded after being shot in the head near the busy intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue Friday night, prompting a search for two suspects.

According to local reports, the shooting happened just after 7:30 p.m., a time when the strip is packed with tourists and shoppers. Los Angeles police officers responded to the scene and found a man on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the shooting happened during a fight involving three people. “There was an altercation between two males, and a female was also involved,” LAPD Sgt. Victor Hooper said. “During the altercation, one of them pulled out a firearm and one shot was fired.”

While it’s unclear what the dispute was about, cops shared that the victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition and is expected to recover, police said. So what happened to the suspects? ABC7 reports that a man and a woman fled the scene and remain on the loose.

While this didn’t turn out to be a deadly situation, the shocking news shortly after the breaking reports about Cash App founder Bob Lee who was killed in San Francisco last week.

As we previously reported, police responded to a report of a stabbing early Tuesday, around 2:35 a.m. While there, they found the 43-year-old suffering from stab wounds, the San Francisco Police Department said. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police confirmed Lee’s identity in a statement late Wednesday saying they were investigating at the time:

“There is no place for this kind of violent crime against anyone in our city. I want to assure everyone that our investigators are working tirelessly to make an arrest and bring justice to Mr. Lee and his loved ones, just as we try to do on every homicide that occurs in our city,” said San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott in a statement.

According to updated reports, the suspect has been identified as Nima Momeni, 38. Cops claim he’s the one responsible for stabbing the
43-year-old tech executive three times with a
four-inch kitchen knife, including twice in the
chest, the documents state, according to NBC
News.

Apparently, this happened following an argument about his suspected killer’s sister, according to court papers. Prosecutors say that at some point during the incident, Mr. Momeni’s sister sent a text to Lee, which stated, “Just wanted to make sure
you’re doing ok Cause know nima came
wayyyyyy down hard on you.?”

Come forth, Lee’s family friend told The San Francisco Chronicle that the two tech
executives are thought to have known each
other through Mr. Momeni’s sister, who Lee
had recently gotten to know. The guys were also hanging out together on the night of the fatal stabbing, the friend said.
