Angel Reese is getting to that bag! According to multiple reports the LSU star reportedly has the most NIL deals of all college men’s and women’s basketball players.
In a recent interview with The Pivot, Reese and her teammate Flau’jae Johnson sat down and explained how they’re bringing in some big money while being in college. “As a woman you can make more money in college than going to the WNBA.” Reese said. “NIL has changed the game completely for everybody, men and women. You would think it would only be men and stuff, but its women too. We’re making bags!”
She continues to speak on how it’s been reported that she’s number one in the country on having NIL deals. “They said I was leading the whole country in college basketball in NIL deals. As a black woman that meant so much I was like wow. I was just talking to her saying we’re going to be in the history books for saying we started this. We did so much here at LSU, in our first year here.”

Angel was playing in her hometown her first year of college. She attended Maryland and after her first year she put herself into the transfer portal and ended up at LSU. During an appearance on Keyshawn, JWill and Max, Reese was asked what the biggest difference for her was once she got to LSU.
“Honestly, just being able to have a fresh start and being who I was,” Angel Reese said. “I mean, I was always who I was but I didn’t have the platform. I mean, SEC, LSU, we’ve got the spotlight this year. And just to see how much my platform has grown on and off the court because I feel like I’ve always been this player and I was having these numbers at Maryland, but just being able to see me get better, have confidence, be happy.”
As we previously reported, the media attempted to portray their key player, Angel Reese as a player with “no class.” Right after the game, Reese began trending when she taunted her opponent Caitlin Clark by mimicking Clark’s “You Can’t See Me” tease. Reese shook her hand in front of her own face, before pointing to her own ring finger. Amid going viral for the incident, Reese and her teammates would go on to beat Iowa, 102-85, and make history at LSU, by winning their first national championship.
