Julia Fox has come to her brother’s rescue and paid his $450k bail following his arrest for allegedly running a ghost gun peddling operation at his Upper East Side New York apartment. TMZ previously reported that Julia’s brother Christopher Fox and their dad Thomas Fox were detained during a home raid in Manhattan on Wednesday after cops found a slew of weapons including ghost gun components, as well as unidentified pills and material used to make drugs.
In a series of new developments, it appears Christopher was the only one charged in the case before being taken to Riker’s Island. After appearing at the Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday, however, Christopher was granted his freedom after his sister paid the large sum, with celebrity bondsman Ira Judelson telling the New York Post, “Of course Ms. Fox seemed upset. It is her brother.” Prosecutors had initially asked for his bail to be set at $750,000 but the judge decided to lower the amount so long as Christopher agreed to forfeit his passport.
The gun peddling operation is still being investigated, the New York Police Department said, having previously said they don’t believe the crime was related to any “apparent to terrorism.”
Prosecutors are accusing Christopher of allegedly making around $345,000 between April 2020 and January 2023, with most of his transactions being made over CashApp, implying that the ghost guns he’s alleged of making were then sold marketed and sold.
“The NYPD will continue to fight relentlessly against illegal guns – against both the steady proliferation of traditionally-manufactured firearms and the increasingly prevalent numbers of illegal, untraceable but fully functioning weapons known as ghost guns,” the NYPD said in a statement.
In a recent report by the Daily Mail, sources said that Julia was “not shocked” by the arrests of her brother and father, whom she is alleged to share no contact with. The insider claims that while Julia and Christopher were raised by their “unstable” dad, their upbringing allegedly left them suffering with plenty of abuse at the hands of their dad.
“Her dad is insane and has caused her emotional trauma that she will have to deal with for the rest of her life. She knew that one day his life would catch up with him. She is glad that no one was hurt by his disgusting actions.”

Julia is alleged to have cut ties with the pair years ago, even though she once shared a close bond with Christopher, who has since “turned out just like his father,” the source added.
Thomas’ antics eventually left pair to fend for themselves after being forced to live on the street, causing a huge rift between Thomas and his children. Somewhere down the line, the source claims that Julia and her brother went their separate ways because his actions were starting to resemble those of their father.
