Congratulations to Sophia Grace Brownlee, who took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal that she’s given birth to her first child — a baby boy.
The 19-year-old, who became a viral sensation when she and her cousin Rosie McClelland appeared on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” back in 2011, shared the news in a doting black-and-white photo as her newborn baby holds onto her finger. She accompanied the post with a caption that read, “26.02.23,” indicating that Brownlee gave birth just over a week ago.
Her announcement was met with a heap of positive comments from fans sending her congratulatory messages — even Ellen Degeneres had a few words to share, writing, “Welcome to the world, Nicki Minaj the 3rd!” The YouTube personality, who has been with the child’s father for over two years, had first shared the joyful news of her pregnancy back in October, during which time she was already 21 weeks along.

And despite being an internet influencer who shares all parts of her life with her followers, Brownlee has decided to keep the identity of her baby’s dad private. According to the Daily Mail, the pair has been together for over two years, with Brownlee having recently shared in a YouTube video to her fans that they were both excited to embark on their next chapter as parents.
Brownlee went viral before viral was even a thing when she was flown out to Los Angeles to appear on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” alongside her cousin after gaining quite the attention to their cover of Nick Minaj’s song “Super Bass” on YouTube.
Dressed in matching tutus on top of their distinct British accents, the former talk show host then surprised the duo when she brought out the Young Money for a joint performance with the girls. To date, the video has been watched over 140 million times and remains one of the most popular clips on Degeneres’ YouTube channel.
“Ellen” watchers had clearly taken a liking to the pair, who were invited back on a handful of occasions to work as the show’s correspondents at events including the “American Music Awards,” “Grammys,” “Billboard Music Awards,” and MTV’s “Video Music Awards.” Needless to say, Brownlee and McClelland quickly became fan favorites, and Degeneres clearly couldn’t get enough of their witty personalities.

McClelland, who is actively pursuing a career in music, recently told E! News that she was “shocked” upon finding out about her cousin’s pregnancy, saying the news had left her bursting into tears. “She has always been amazing with children and she’s gonna be an amazing mum,” the 16-year-old added.
“She also has a very supportive family around her to help and I’m gonna be there every step of the way! I can’t wait to buy the baby loads of cute clothes.”
