In celebration of her daughter’s 14th birthday, Farrah Abraham allowed Sophia Laurent to get two more piercings.
The 31-year-old “Teen Mom” star recently shared a video of the youngster getting a snakebite and earlobe piercing. “HAPPY 14th Birthday!” Farrah began in the caption of her b-day post. “#snakebite & #earlobe piercing party! 6 piercings later #snakebitepiercings you match your snake (cake emoji),” she added. “Can you even eat your cake?’”
Of course, fans were immediately divided about Farrah’s decision to let her daughter get yet another piercing. However, some commenters actually stood by her side and commended her for letting the teen express herself freely. Meanwhile, others continue to slam her for allowing Sophia to have so many piercings at such a young age. While speaking with TMZ, Farrah explained that she’s just trying to support her daughter as best she can.
Now, Farrah, who allowed her daughter to get her first piercing at age 13 went on to say that she believes Sophia can be doing a lot worse but she’s thankful that her daughter comes to her when she wants to try new things.

Farrah told TMZ that she always makes sure to consult with professionals before she allows her daughter to go under the needle. This time around they even advised the teen to get just two more as Sophia wanted an earlobe piercing on top of the snake bite.
Farrah believes she has this parenting thing together even despite being a young mom at 16. She told the outlet that parents should stop judging and start looking in the mirror because plenty of teens her daughter’s age are already chugging down alcohol, experimenting with dangerous drugs, dating, and having sex … which is why she thinks piercings are not that serious.
Despite that, Farrah says she’s completely against all of those things including tattoos which is why Sophia won’t be getting one anytime soon. Ultimately, the mom couldn’t be more proud of her little girl. She even expressed that in her lengthy IG post to her last week. She said:
