A woman shared her scariest flight experience, revealing that the back of her head exploded due to cabin pressure on the plane.

Weronika, known as @polish_99, uploaded the video earlier this week with the caption, “POV: you’re the flight attendant that I’ve just had to inform the back of my head exploded from the pressure.” The clip shows Weronika’s head surrounded by a brace with bruises on her face. She explained that she had surgery before the flight, and cabin pressure caused the stitches to rip open. She underwent cat eye surgery and a neck lift, as reported by Yahoo! News.

“I have unusually soft tissue and swell more than the average person which led to some of the stitches coming open on the plane in one tiny area.”
It was later discovered that her surgeon failed to give her a certificate that gave her clearance to fly back home. She mentioned the error in another video and called the surgeon a “really nice guy!”
“[This is] dedicated to the surgeon who forgot to give me a fit to fly certificate, so I was charged 100 dollars for one at the airport, only for my head to explode in the plane.”
Weronika said she was in a lot of pain during the remainder of her flight and added that her surgeon placed a fluid drain in the back of her ear during the cat eye surgery. However, the liquid didn’t completely drain out and caused her head to swell. She noted after returning home, the hole became infected the following day.
“But I woke up the next morning, and the hole [was] infected. It was oozing this yellow, viscous liquid, and it literally stank. It was so gross.”
After the video went viral on TikTok, several commentators were stunned by Weronika’s experience. One Tiktoker wrote, “i believe you, this happened to my bf and felt sharp pains and pressure too

She also had to clarify that her head didn’t explode and said it was a figure of speech.
“Guys, it’s obviously about stitches ripping on the plane. OBVIOUSLY MY BRAINS DIDN’T BLOW OUT. I wouldn’t be making tiktoks would I?! I’d be in hospital if I was even alive. Use common sense
”
