The insider told the publication on Friday (October 21), “Anna has had enough. She has made it very clear inside Vogue that Kanye is no longer part of the inner circle.”

Per the report from Page Six, Wintour and Ye “had a long and close relationship,” stemming back to when Wintour first invited him to her annual Met Gala in 2009.

Wintour would later invite Ye and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian onto the cover in 2014 following their wedding. Wintour has even been spotted wearing Yeezy products, as recent as last month.

And when Ye was beefing with one of her editors, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, Wintour had her longtime friend, Baz Luhrmann, film Ye’s reconciliation.

The news arrives on the heels of several reports of other brands and celebrities withdrawing support for Ye. Most recently, we shared reports of fashion brand Balenciaga severed its own ties with Ye.

If you recall, Karefa-Johnson criticized Ye for wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt at his surprise Yeezy fashion show in Paris, France. When Ye caught wind of her criticism, he blasted the highly-revered editor and said she had no fashion sense.

Ye faced a heap more backlash over his comments and he later spoke with Karefa-Johnson, claiming the two settled their differences.

However, after his big feud with Karefa-Johnson, Ye went on Revolt TV’s ‘Drink Champs,’ and all hell broke loose. His comments there led to an unsurmountable load of criticism.

Several celebrities and brands began to withdraw their support of Ye. The latest report we shared was on Friday (October 21), when Balenciaga reportedly ended its long-time relationship with Ye; again after he caused tremendous outrage over his anti-Semitic rants and remarks about George Floyd — which prompted a $250 million lawsuit from the mother Floyd’s daughter.
