The faux socialite was granted a $10,000 bond by a US Immigration judge on Wednesday and released Friday evening after meeting the conditions for her release. Judge Charles Conroy told Sorokin that she has to find another way to promote her artwork since she was ordered not to post on social media, as reported by Page Six. Additionally, she needed to provide a residential address to the court since Sorokin will be placed under 24-hour confinement during the remainder of her immigration proceedings.

Sorokin is not allowed to leave the apartment, and her visitors would have to be approved and scheduled. She also found a guarantor for her apartment and the rent approximately costs $5,000 a month.

One of her biggest grand larceny scams involved Delvey attempting to fake documentation in order to obtain a $22 million bank loan for an art club.

A judge sentenced her to serve 4 to 12 years but Delvey was released in February 2021 on good behavior. However, the moment didn’t last too long as she was apprehended by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers a month later then placed at a detention center in Goshen, New York.
